Water Polo has a NUDE for practice tradition. The theory is that if a player is used to competing in the nude at practice, then he wont be upset during a game should he lose his speedos. This was particularly true in the English Private Schools. Some say it continues to this day and since Prince William and Harry were on the Water Polo teams at school their Royal Jewels were seen by teammates at their practices.
